Near the new blue Panchayat building the sweepers voices swept the streets.Their voices rose as in a tom tom jungle and died away in the blue. They wore uniforms like the blue summer sky. They swept the old stars off your blue night.
In the morning we start off on our Monday blues. Alice has come out of her dream and thank God she need not now change her size every now and then .The book is only 180 pages long, not two mile high.The queen is neatly folded up in her pack and nobody will order the soldiers “off with her head”.
It takes a tenner to hold a white rabbit in your hands. White rabbits snuggle against your sweater warmly in the Himalayas .The Himalayan ice is far too slippery for the old hip bones. Hold your rabbits.
* Girl in a dream
Alice has come here to pass time, perchance dream,with her sister reading a book by the bank and feeling quite stupid thereby in the vaporous afternoon.Her sister reads a book with no pictures and conversations.
But Alice has her dream, full of pictures and conversations.Her white rabbit takes a watch out of her waistcoat pocket and says the Duchess the Duchess ,I am getting late.In the rabbit hole down where Alice is falling she finds a marmalade jar in the shelves .Unfortunately it is empty.
On the hole it is interesting .
