Entering the clouds

We would enter a cloud bird state
Looking through the plane window
And it got us entirely destabilised
In our old body with clouded mind.

The plane took minor toss in seat
And the plane might have laughed
Sending us scurrying back to seat
From holes where we sat perched.

Plane sandwich had a stale cheese
With which we said a smile please,
As if clouds had flash photography,
Birds have flown away camera shy.

We ascended clouds for a top view.
The hills had a way with the cloud.
They laughed together like big shots.
In higher echelons they always did.

It seemed we and the body walked
Through the watery state of cloud.
As houses sat on hills like little birds,
Clouds smacked their faces in jest.
